Churchills Project

The Churchills Hotel was built in 1855 and the building holds a grade 2 listed status. Most Cardiffians know it, for if they had not been to a function or party there, it is unusual for Cardiff, grandiose architecture stands out, lending greatly from Cheltenham style stucco.

The hotel had its last day in July of 2015. From then, until the end of 2017, renovations took place on the inside to turn the hotel into two luxury houses. What was the conservatory and dining area for functions, is now the outdoor living space and this is what you see in the pictures.

The general theme of linear lines, sharp angles, clean edges and simplicity is what we have achieved in both gardens. The two main focal points are the use of African Iroko timber and the fake " Green Wall" installation.
